I provide compassionate and common sense counseling to children, adults, couples, and families. I tailor treatment to each client, as counseling is not a one size fits all situation. The relationship between client and therapist is a priority, and should I not be a good fit for a client, I provide thoughtful referrals to help the client find the right match.

Are you ready for change? Are you feeling highly stressed, anxious, or stuck in your life, work or relationships? I work with people who are generally high functioning, insightful and motivated, but are aware that certain changes will make their their lives much happier and more satisfying. We all have times in life when we feel stuck or don't know how to effect the changes we are ready to see in our lives. My clients come in for different reasons, including a desire for more satisfying relationships, blocks to creativity/productivity, distracting or anxious thoughts,or a crisis of confidence. Others have issues with procrastination/overwhelm, or a readiness to put traumatic experiences behind them. Often my clients are simply ready to learn how to relate differently to the stressors in their lives, and finally find a sense of balance!

Lindsay Wolf, M.A.

Capacious Arts Therapy Boulder, CO

phone: 408-386-8317

I believe art therapy has the potential to empower individuals to illuminate our inner experiences so that we can more completely express ourselves through both unconscious and conscious means. I support Carl Jung’s belief that it is important to become conscious of the symbols and metaphors that punctuate our lives and become aware of how these symbols influence us when we are unconscious of their presence. My relational approach encourages the therapeutic relationship to be a co-creative exploration between client and therapist, which creates an environment in which clients and I are able to meet as a collaborative team to work in support of the client’s process. Together we uncover new perspectives that are in support of the client’s growth. I am a graduate of the Art Therapy Transpersonal Counseling Psychology program at Naropa Univ.

Sacred Breathwork

Sacred Breathwork is a form of experiential psychotherapy that uses rhythmic breathing and evocative music causing clients to enter an altered state. From this transpersonal state, they have access to the subconscious mind and hidden emotional issues.

A supportive Five-Stage Healing Process helps release the effects of past trauma and promotes healing on a cellular level. A Breathwork session assists you to de-stress, regenerate and find peace and calm amidst chaos, healing physical symptoms. Clients experience a state of bliss that restores the Divine connection and activates inner wisdom and healing. As a result, feelings of self-worth and self-esteem create an environment for ultimate fulfillment and authentic relationships.

The breath is invisible, yet it effects the visible. Through the breath we connect our conscious minds to our unconscious thoughts and beliefs, revealing the truth of who we really are, inherently worthy and whole.
