As a therapist my energy and presence is to allow a gentle, relaxed and personal approach in therapy, which provides support and safety for my clients to make positive changes in their lives. My professional history, with a MA in Counseling Psychology and a BA in Sociology, has evolved over 28 years of work with diverse client populations: adults, young adults, teens and children. I am fortunate in that my education, post-degree trainings and practice allow me to draw from a large variety of methods and understanding. My experience is that every person has within them, basic, accessible health and wisdom. Therefore, it is natural for me to help clients in their movement to realize and use their own, more effective ways in dealing with the daily challenges of life. It is with authenticity and a sense of warmth and humor that I provide the space and support for clients to gently shift, learn, grow, and heal from the difficulties they have been living with.
