Linda Schierse Leonard, Ph.D., Boulder Psychotherapy Institute Distinguished Guest Workshop Leader, is a Jungian analyst trained in Zurich and an internationally renowned author, lecturer and workshop presenter. Her best-selling book, The Wounded Woman, has been translated into 15 languages and continues to draw interest from readers around the world.
Linda is in private practice in Boulder and is available for phone consultation as well as face-to-face therapy. She is especially interested in working with therapists, writers and artists on creativity issues and anyone interested in dreams.
Linda's other popular books include On the Way to the Wedding, Following the Reindeer Woman: Path of Peace and Harmony, Meeting the Madwoman, The Call to Create, and Witness to the Fire: Creativity and the Veil of Addiction. She is currently writing two books, one on The Art of Aging and the other on Archetypal Images in Film.
Linda is a founding member of the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts, a group that certifies Jungian analysts in the United States. She is a faculty member and training analyst for the C. G. Jung Institute of Colorado. Linda also has a doctorate in philosophy and is a specialist in the existential philosophy of Martin Heidegger. She frequently incorporates Heidegger's ideas into her writing and presentations along with those of Jung.
Linda offers distinguished guest workshops for the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute on various topics. These include creativity, addiction, film as an adjunct to psychotherapy, and aging. Her workshops are open to the general public as well as to mental health professionals. Participants are always enthralled with Linda and the material she presents.
