I am a licensed Psychotherapist And Certified Nutritionist (CN) specializing in individual counseling, addiction and mental health nutrition.With over 30 years experience as a clinician, I am currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are relapse prevention for chronic relapsers, chronic pain and illness, life struggles and mental health nutrition and addiction treatment. I provide training and supervision of interns and clinicians wishing to integrate nutritional awareness into their practices. I also work with Dr. Beth Ballen in the Colorado Recovery Infusion Center where we use IV amino acid therapy for drug and alcohol detox and to address issues such as major depression, ADHD and anxiety. In addition, I present at national conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from Nutrition and Brain Chemistry, Hypoglycemia, Adrenal Fatigue in Addicted Families, and Integrating Nutritional Strategies into a Private Practice. I have also taught Basic Counseling Skills and Nutrition and Brain Chemistry at the Denver School of Hypnotherapy. I currently teach two on-line courses in biochemical and nutritional approaches to mental health and addiction recovery in conjunction with The Alliance for Addiction Solutions.
