Clinical Approach/Therapeutic Orientation:

My foundational approach to psychotherapy is present moment, body centered, and will include: Mindfulness awareness practices, Humanistic psychotherapy, and Applied Existential Psychotherapy. I draw upon these therapeutic approaches to tailor what treatment best fits my client's needs. My focus is on relationship, whether with oneself or other. I have certification in the Containment and Autonomic Nervous System Regulation trauma method from the Love and Trauma Center in Denver, CO. as well as EMDR, PACT, DBT, Mastery Attachment Training and many substance use disorder modalities and group methods such as Seeking Safety, Strategies for Success and Change, Helping Men Recover and Helping women Recover. For many years, I have been a student of the Ridhwan School, (the Diamond Approach to Inner work), that integrates depth psychology with meditation and spiritual inquiry to deepen contact with our true nature and personal essence (www.ridhwan.org). I am a trained Mindfulness meditation instructor in the graduate school of Naropa University, this also forms a basis of my work.

My Educational Background: I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Secondary Education, a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology and a Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology.
