Karen's work helps people awaken to their individual spirituality, regardless of 'religious' orientation, or lack thereof. She has an annotated outline of "Notes of Mid-life Crisis as a Spiritual Awakening" on her website which helps guide people attempting to regenerate their lives as they age.

Karen helps people with very difficult situations, including those facing life-and-death decisions. She works with severe trauma, cancer survivors, caretakers, spiritual "emergencies" and unusual phenomenal experiences. She also works with many people to help them integrate deep spiritual practice into their everyday lives.

Working by phone, Karen is able to help people, both in Colorado and elsewhere in the country, who wish to do therapy or consultation by phone (due to various reasons, from convenience to anonymity or shyness) and need her expertise. She also does email-based therapy with people in other countries.
