Although we all experience change, it doesn't mean that we always understand or effectively handle the stress of transitions. Sometimes we just feel "lost at sea". I can help you learn to effectively surf the waves of change, steer in the direction that is right for you, and find the clarity, creativity, and humor to help you stay afloat. I have 30 years of experience helping people effectively navigate life's challenging changes and transitions. I also work with actors, writers, performers, and people who just want to explore and enhance their creativity. Sessions might include focusing on the mind-body connection, the use of photography for self-expression and family of origin exploration, inner dialogue and visualization, and traditional talk therapy. However I tailor sessions to fit the needs of each individual client.

Connecting with others, developing new skills, learning to improvise in meeting life's challenges, and laughter are all ways of staying emotionally healthy and building personal resilency - the ability to successfully "bounce back" from difficulties. So, in addition to the traditional one to one meetings in the consulting room, I also offer classes and workshops where people can connect with others, learn something new, and have a good time. These have included "The Art of Living Alone", "Improvisation for your Real Life", "The Silken Cave" (for women in mid-life), "Finding Your Inner Babe", and "The Friday Night Ladies Texas Hold'em 101" (for beginners). Please call or email me with your interest and requests.
