Practice, Process, and Supervision/Consultation Groups
In addition to training groups and workshops, Boulder Psychotherapy Institute offers a set of small groups as part of our Advanced Certification Program in Applied Existential Psychotherapy (AEP).
Practice, Process, and Supervision/Consultation Groups are ongoing slow-open groups. This means they only accept new members when someone leaves and a space opens up. We have many of these groups and start new ones as the need arises - so openings often do come up.
Some groups have been meeting for many years. They become little communities. Members often form dynamic support groups for practice building, processing client issues, learning through personal work, observing the work of others, and practicing AEP interventions with fellow students.
These groups meet once a month on different days and at different times.

Groups are led by licensed BPI faculty who have been practicing and training students for many years. Supervision/consultation groups usually count toward licensure — as long as you choose a group with a leader who has the license required by your licensing board (Psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
Licensed professionals, students working on degrees, and registered psychotherapists are also welcome in these groups.
Cost is currently $80 for two-hour supervision/consultation groups limited to 4 members and $90 for three-hour practice, process, and supervision/consultation groups limited to 6 members.
